Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Survey

Planning on the refurbishment or demolition a building? The HSE Survey Guide states that an R & D Asbestos Survey is required before work is carried out.

This type of survey is used to locate and describe all asbestos containing materials in the area where the refurbishment or demolition work is planned. It could also be required where more intrusive maintenance work is to be carried out. The survey will be intrusive of the fabric of the building.
